Makita RT0700 trim router

This is such a handy little gizmo, I don’t know how I managed before owning one. I’ve never had much luck with routers, but this one is awesome. It has more than enough power for everything I’ve thrown at it. Adjustment and functionality is spot on, and I found it to be really well balanced.

I would definitely get the plunge base if I could find one. As it’s the only thing that’s stopping me getting rid of my bigger plunge router.

Makita do a cordless version. However, I’m not sure how much benefit that would be for me as I always seem to use it with dust collection.
